The trials and tribulations of having a two part last name.

 I sometimes think that life is easier for Wanda Claire. She gets booked on flights while Wanda La Claire has to pay an extra $50 if she didn't catch the mistake early enough. Wanda Claire owned a home while Wanda La Claire paid the mortgage until the problem was sorted out. I'm not including Wanda La who has a whole set of different problems. I suppose I could change my name to LaClaire which might make life a little easier but all my id is in the name La Claire. As far as the government is concerned I'm Wanda La Claire a so it would require a legal name change. Of course, the problem only occurs when I'm dealing with any form that has only one field for the name. If the form requires first name first I become Wanda Claire and if the form is last name fist I become Wanda La. So, while I sit here on Goodreads as Wanda Claire, I wonder if there is some trick I can employ to simplify my life. Could I use La_Claire or will I just end up with a fourth identity?
